We know that the internet can be a wonderful thing but it’s important that we keep kids safe online. We will be teaching children about this as part of their ICT education but if you would like some advice and guidance you can read the leaflet that we have produced about Keeping Kids Safe Online.
It’s a good place to start with some useful links and we would recommend that if you haven’t already, that you check your security and parent settings on your home devices so that children can’t access things that aren’t suitable for them.
Please remember that no primary school age children should have their own social media accounts (such as Facebook) – the minimum age is 14.
If you have any worries or questions about keeping your child safe online either at school or at home then please speak to your class teacher.
